The last few years there have been more and more rained out games than in years past. Also, there has been a hat tournament in early august put on by wudi at Purchase. I propose scheduling that tournament as a makeup day for any of the rain outs that have occurred during the season. Pros are that we get to play the teams we missed, thereby getting our money's worth. Next, playing more than one game in a day prepares teams for the final championship day where more than one game is played. Cons some teams/captains may not be able to attend/field their best squads that day, thereby messing up the rankings. Also, wudi schedulers would have to do some extra work. If there are no rained out games than this just becomes the same old hat tournament. This could be made know or clear at the beginning of the season.
