Joe Gara and I are headed to Acco, Israel in July, to teach Ultimate Frisbee to 120 Palestinian and Israeli kids at a weeklong camp on a kibbutz. The camp is organized by Ultimate Peace, a two-year-old group that aims to build bridges – however small – within divided communities. In its second year, Ultimate Peace has already been recognized and awarded for peace building.

I was a coach on U.P.'s inaugural trip to Israel and Palestine last April, and it was awesome.  Not only did the kids take to the sport like fire to kindling, but boys and girls, Palestinians and Israelis played beautifully together . When we left, the kids and their gym coaches were planning to start school teams.
